Rejection challenge generator

Pick 7 or 14 days. You get one small, safe, kind ask a day, from easy to harder, each with the line to say and a question for afterwards.

How it works

Rejection therapy is a self-help game: you ask for small things so that hearing "no" becomes ordinary. This generator builds the plan for you. Every day has one ask, graded from a warm-up to a real request with a chance of a polite no. Each ask has a line you can say as written and a question to think about afterwards. Gentle stops at a small question that could get a no, Steady climbs a little higher, and Stretch ends with an invitation. Tap New plan for another set. Your choices stay in the page address so you can save the plan for yourself.

Safety and kindness rules

What you are really practising

The point is not to collect yeses. It is to ask, notice that you are fine, and ask again. A no is information, and most of the time it is about the other person's day, not about you. Rate your nerves from 1 to 10 before and after each ask. Watching that number fall over a week or two is a useful record. If a day feels too big, repeat an earlier one.

Who this is for, and who it is not

This challenge suits anyone who wants to feel more at ease asking for things and hearing no. It is a self-help game and not a replacement for professional support. If asking feels overwhelming or the feelings are strong and last for weeks, a GP, doctor or licensed therapist is a good first step.

Questions about the rejection challenge

What is a rejection challenge?

A rejection challenge is a short series of small asks, one a day, where you expect that the answer might be no. Over time the no becomes less frightening. This plan keeps every ask safe, kind and low-stakes.

Is rejection therapy real therapy?

No. Rejection therapy is a self-help game, not clinical therapy. It does not treat anything, and it does not replace professional support. This tool is a simple way to practise asking.

What if someone says no?

That is the plan working. Smile, say "No problem, thanks anyway" and move on. Never ask twice and never argue. Write down what you felt, then do the next ask.

Are the asks safe?

They are all public, legal, kind and low-stakes. None involves money from a stranger, touching anyone, pressure on staff or a private place. If any ask feels unsafe or unwelcome to the other person, skip it.

Should I choose 7 or 14 days?

Start with 7 days to see how it feels. Choose 14 days if you want a slower climb with more asks at each level. You can always repeat a day, or take a rest day.

Is my data stored or sent anywhere?

No. The plan is built in your browser. Nothing is stored, no cookies or local storage are used, and nothing is sent over the network.
